As early as the 15th century, a group of walled vineyard plots appeared around Château Carbonnieux. This cuvée pays tribute to the estate’s long winemaking tradition. Coming from plot selection during blending tastings, L’Enclos de Carbonnieux red and white are cuvées crafted like great growths.
L’Enclos
de Carbonnieux
A historic plot selection
Pessac-Léognan
L’Enclos de Carbonnieux Red, a Merlot full of softness supported by an expressive Cabernet Sauvignon, is not enough to fully describe this wine so typical of Pessac-Léognan, as it also offers a delicious aromatic palette of red and black fruits and spices, supported by a soft and balanced tannic structure.
L’Enclos de Carbonnieux White expresses all the freshness of Sauvignon carried by the roundness and breadth of Sémillon. A true Pessac-Léognan, both fruity, lively, and floral, with notes of citrus, pear, linden, or honey, offering real indulgence.
