Philibert Perrin, co-managing director with his brother Eric of Château Carbonnieux, has been elected on April 10th, 2026, as president of the Syndicat Viticole de Pessac-Léognan. He succeeds Jacques Lurton after four years of dedication as president of Pessac-Léognan. Philibert knows the role very well, having already served in this position from 2017 to 2022.
Our appellation stands out for one strong characteristic: all of its châteaux are owned by families. This uniqueness is a real asset, encouraging agility and adaptability in strategic decisions, both for the production of white and red wines and for communication and market positioning.
